Job Summary

This role is the driving force behind the digital transformation of procurement processes within the Nuremberg transformer plant. As a Digital Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing, redesigning, and continuously optimizing all procurement processes, adhering to the Efficiency – Automation – Digitalization (EAD) principle to enhance transparency and compliance. Day-to-day tasks involve identifying and implementing automation potential using modern technologies like RPA, Workflow-Engines, and AI, and developing automated workflows to boost efficiency in recurring tasks. You will collaborate closely with Procurement, IT, and other interfaces to achieve strategic digitalization goals, promote digital collaboration, and conduct market analysis on new technologies. This position is central to accelerating automation and intensifying digital cooperation within a critical sector of the energy transition.
