Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated PLC Programmer within a special machinery construction company, Huster & Santenberg GmbH, based in Jahnsdorf/Erzgebirge. The specialist will handle the complete lifecycle of automation solutions, including independent project planning, software development, and commissioning of complex systems. Key responsibilities involve programming various PLC controls (primarily Siemens S7/TIA and Beckhoff, potentially Mitsubishi), performing fault analysis, optimizing existing systems, and developing bespoke customer solutions. The position requires a background in Electrical Engineering or Automation, specific experience with the Siemens TIA Portal, and familiarity with EPLAN documentation. The successful candidate must be self-reliant, reliable, and team-oriented. The role involves approximately 30% travel and offers a permanent contract within a supportive environment focused on continuous improvement.
