Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position in Chemnitz seeks an Electrical Engineering Engineer to drive the design and development of vehicle functions, primarily focusing on rail transport and mobility. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining system requirements in collaboration with clients, drafting technical specifications for subsystem functions (System Engineering), and selecting components while coordinating with suppliers. The role requires creating technical concepts, specifications, and functional circuit diagrams using modern CAE tools, alongside ensuring compliance through standards research and documentation. The ideal candidate holds a degree or advanced qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, possesses foundational knowledge of control hardware and bus systems (SPS, CAN, Ethernet), and has initial experience with circuit diagram software like Zuken E3 or EPLAN P8.
