Job Summary

This role involves supervising the realization of complex railway infrastructure projects, focusing specifically on Signaling and Control Technology (LST). The supervisor is responsible for self-organized monitoring of installation, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and schedule requirements, and managing comprehensive project documentation, including construction logs and defect tracking. Key tasks also include participating in project meetings, preparing for and conducting acceptance procedures, and ensuring timely and correct billing. Candidates must hold a relevant engineering degree (Electrical, Communications, or Transportation) or a Master Craftsman qualification in LST/Electrical Engineering, coupled with the mandatory authorization as a Railway Construction Supervisor LST (VV BAU-STE). The position offers a secure, permanent contract, a company vehicle, 30 days of vacation, and extensive opportunities for professional development, requiring flexibility to work on changing construction sites, often outdoors.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, or Transportation Engineering; or Master Craftsman (Meister) certification in Signaling and Control Technology or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in railway construction supervision
  • Authorization as a Railway Construction Supervisor LST or Specialist Construction Supervisor LST (according to VV BAU-STE)
