This role seeks a motivated Media Technician or AV Systems Specialist to join a small media technology firm specializing in planning and installing audio-visual systems. The primary responsibilities include the installation of complex media technology, such as large touch displays (up to 98 inches) and video conferencing systems, coupled with necessary preparation and follow-up documentation. A portion of the work involves utilizing specialized software for administrative tasks like generating offers, delivery notes, and technical drawings. Depending on experience, the role may also involve programming media controls and expanding into customer consultation and system planning after initial training. Ideal candidates possess a background in Media Technology, Event Technology, or Electrical/Electronics, or are enthusiastic career changers with a strong interest in AV systems. This position offers a varied, full-time (or part-time) permanent contract based in Leipzig, focusing mainly on regional projects across Eastern Germany.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training or degree in Media Technology, Event Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
Experience
