Job Summary

This role as a Quality Control Technician involves ensuring the dimensional accuracy and quality of components for a leading European fastener trading company based in Hamburg. Day-to-day responsibilities include the precise geometric measurement of parts according to drawings and specifications, utilizing a wide range of technical and mechanical testing equipment. The specialist will perform optical, mechanical, and electrical testing procedures, conduct functional checks, and manage sample preparation, including sawing, grinding, polishing, and metallography. A critical aspect is the interpretation and application of DIN, EN, and ISO standards to maintain high quality. Candidates should possess completed vocational training in a metal profession (such as Industrial Mechanic or Machining Technician) and ideally have practical experience in Quality and Process Management within a metalworking environment, along with proficiency in MS Office and ideally SAP S4/HANA.
