Job Summary

This role seeks an Engineer specializing in Measurement, Control Technology (MCR), and Video Sensor Systems to join the Electrical Engineering department in Jena. The primary focus will be on managing and maintaining production video technology, ensuring the continuity of existing knowledge, and overseeing related production data networks and process control systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing specifications for internal and external contractors, evaluating proposals, and managing the implementation of solutions from planning through commissioning. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or is a certified Technician with low-voltage switching authorization. While approximately three years of professional experience in MCR systems and networks is preferred, highly motivated university graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and proficiency in German and technical English.
