Job Summary

This leadership role involves spearheading the strategic development and implementation of innovative, laser-based technologies for processing glass and other specialty materials within the Corporate R&D division. The Head of Development will be responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic development priorities, planning and prioritizing projects, and managing personnel and investment resources. A core function is ensuring the professional development of post-processing techniques, including cutting, structuring, joining, and forming procedures for glass, glass-ceramics, and composite materials. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of complex technological challenges, lead a dynamic team of scientists and engineers, manage project and cost center controlling, and maintain external contacts with universities and research institutes to align the development strategy with market innovations. This position requires significant experience in R&D leadership and fluency in English.
