Job Summary
This role involves cutting-edge applied research and development in Computer Vision and Machine Learning within the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity ATHENE, a leading joint institution focusing on IT security and data protection. The professional will be responsible for researching and implementing advanced Computer Vision approaches, including object detection (using tools like YOLO, RT-DETRv2), image classification (using Transformer and CNN architectures), image segmentation (e.g., SAM-2, DINO-3), and developing interactive and explainable classification systems (e.g., GradCAM, ViT Shapley). Day-to-day tasks include contributing to publicly funded and industry-commissioned projects, writing project reports and scientific publications, and presenting findings at national and international conferences. The ideal candidate holds an MSc in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on Machine/Deep Learning and possesses mandatory, excellent proficiency in Python.

Experience
- Professional experience in Machine/Deep Learning, ideally focused on Computer Vision
- Familiarity with various Neural Network architectures (CNNs and Transformers)
