Job Summary

This role is for a proactive IT System Administrator specializing in infrastructure management within a large, family-run construction group. The core responsibilities involve maintaining and expanding the company's robust IT landscape, including managing LAN, WAN, and WLAN across two data centers, administering Sophos firewalls and SD-WAN solutions, and ensuring the stability of the Windows Domain (AD, DNS, DHCP). A significant focus will be placed on administering the virtualized server environment (vxRail), managing Exchange, Citrix, and SQL Server systems, and overseeing storage solutions (DataDomain, Cloudbackup). The successful candidate will also contribute to IT security documentation (ISMS), coordinate security measures (MFA, Phishing simulations), provide crucial 2nd level support, and manage external service provider coordination.
