The Kreis Höxter administration is seeking an engaged and structured Internal Auditor to join the Revision and Municipal Supervision Department on a permanent, full-time basis. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and executing audit strategies, reviewing the annual financial statements and ongoing payment processing, and conducting specialized audits, such as verifying grant utilization and procurement procedures. Qualifications require a background in advanced administrative services or a degree in Auditing. Required Skills
Education
Qualification for the first entry level of career group 2 of the general administrative service (formerly advanced non-technical administrative service) OR second examination for employees in municipal administrative service OR completed degree in Auditing.
Experience
- Professional experience in conceiving and implementing audit strategies
- Experience in auditing annual financial statements and payment processing
- Experience in reviewing procurement and consulting on procurement procedures
- Experience in product audits (effectiveness, expediency, and economy of administration)
