This crucial role as an Energy Manager, situated within Internal Services and Facility Management, involves driving strategic and operational energy efficiency across the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district's properties and vehicle fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and updating energy management directives, creating annual energy reports for political committees, and formulating comprehensive climate protection and energy concepts with short-, medium-, and long-term savings measures. Day-to-day tasks include systematic monitoring and analysis of electricity, heating, and water consumption, managing procurement, and advising on energy-efficient components for construction projects. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Energy, Facility Management, Environmental, etc.) and offers a high degree of responsibility in climate protection and energy efficiency, contributing significantly to public welfare.

Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facility Management, Climate Protection, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience in Energy Management, Facility Management, or Climate Protection (desirable)
  • Knowledge of public construction and procurement procedures (VOB/A, UVgO) (desirable)
  • Knowledge of budgetary law (Haushaltsrecht) (desirable)
  • Experience with Facility Management software (advantageous)
