The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting pollutant load calculations and emissions verification to evaluate and optimize drainage systems. Day-to-day tasks involve creating and running simulations using specialized tools like KOSIM or MOMENT, analyzing complex urban water issues, developing solution concepts, and preparing detailed reports and presentations for clients and authorities. This position offers the opportunity to independently manage projects within a defined catchment area, contributing directly to sustainable water management, flood protection, and infrastructure security in the Emscher and Lippe regions. Candidates must possess a degree in a relevant engineering field and have several years of professional experience in pollutant load modeling.
