Job Summary

This role is based in Kamen within the Product Engineering department of Solventum (formerly 3M Health Care), focusing on advancing healthcare through material and data science. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting crucial physical and analytical tests on medical device prototypes and their raw materials. Key daily activities include executing standard laboratory procedures, implementing and refining test methods and equipment, and ensuring meticulous documentation of all results in strict accordance with regulatory standards like GMP and DIN ISO 13485. The ideal candidate must possess a successfully completed technical education, such as a qualification as a Chemical or Physical Laboratory Technician, and demonstrate professional experience, preferably gained within an accredited or certified laboratory environment. Success requires a structured, analytical working style, strong technical understanding, and good proficiency in both German and English.
