Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced professional to join the STACKIT Products team, focusing on building and enhancing secure, sovereign European cloud infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for designing and operating modern cloud platforms utilizing Kubernetes as the core technology. A significant part of the role involves automating infrastructure elegantly and robustly using GoLang, implementing clean controller patterns, and developing resilient services. The ideal candidate must possess deep Kubernetes expertise, familiarity with virtualization, and a strong background in information technology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading European cloud provider, offering an alternative to international providers with server locations exclusively in Germany and Austria.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or degree in an information technology background (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics)
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience with virtualization and modern infrastructure architectures
- Professional experience with Kubernetes
- Daily use of GoLang programming
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
