Job Summary
This role involves serving as a specialized Construction Manager for Heating, Ventilation, and Sanitary (HVAC) systems, including Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) technology and Technical Fire Protection, within the Facility Management unit of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district administration in Berlin. The manager will handle delegable and non-delegable client responsibilities for large and small new constructions, renovations, and maintenance projects across district properties. Key responsibilities include reviewing planning and tender documents, developing refurbishment concepts, managing cost estimation and control, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines. Required Skills
Education
Completed university of applied sciences degree (Bachelor/Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) in Building and Energy Technology, Building Technology and Energy Management, Supply and Energy Technology, or equivalent qualifications. Fulfillment of civil service requirements for Career Group 2, first entry level, technical construction service (for civil servants).
Experience
- At least 2 years of proven professional experience in project management or project control
- Experience with technically complex construction measures
- Experience with large construction projects and renovation measures in existing buildings and ongoing operations

Additional
- Must provide a current professional assessment or a qualified reference. Foreign degrees require evaluation by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). Location is Auf dem Grat 2, 14195 Berlin.
