Job Summary

This critical role involves the comprehensive operation and continuous development of the DATASIX data center in Vienna, working collaboratively within a dedicated 5-person team. Daily responsibilities are hands-on, focusing on the installation, deinstallation, and relocation of IT hardware, coupled with extensive maintenance and meticulous fault analysis and troubleshooting both on-site and within the data centers. A core function is the strategic conception, realization, and security enhancement of data center operations, including the planning, documentation, and implementation of structured cabling systems. Candidates must possess proven experience in data center operations and specific technical knowledge of structured cabling (fiber, copper, power). Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers and networks, is essential. Knowledge of auxiliary systems like HVAC, cooling, and electrotechnology (UPS, generators) is a distinct advantage. The position requires a high degree of responsibility and excellent teamwork skills, supported by fluent German and intermediate English proficiency.
