Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Systems Engineer looking to define the future architecture of modern rail vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the system architecture and operating modes of trains, ensuring optimal configuration, and driving the successful integration of the overall train system. Key tasks include close collaboration with specialists to align requirements, developing new standards based on norms and certifications, and creating detailed subsystem and technical procurement specifications. A core part of the job involves conducting FMECA analyses with the RAMS team to ensure consistency, managing technical supplier contacts, and developing the verification strategy, including comprehensive test specifications. This position requires a Master's degree in Engineering, initial experience in railway technology, and fluency in both German and business-level English, along with a willingness to travel for project assignments.
