Job Summary

This is a leadership role focused on driving the technical and organizational development of multiple data centers in Dresden, utilizing exclusively Open Source and Linux-based solutions. The Head of Data Center will lead the Data Center team, spearheading advancements and strategic visions for the infrastructure. Key responsibilities include evaluating network and infrastructure concepts for both internal data centers and customer projects, and supporting the continuous development of automation and monitoring systems. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Information Technology or a comparable field, proven experience in data center operations, and expertise in Open Source solutions, networking, and security. Proficiency in Python and experience with automation tools like Ansible or Docker are essential for managing RZ processes and Cloud systems, ensuring reliability and scalability without reliance on proprietary systems like Microsoft.
