Job Summary

This role involves designing and verifying electronic test systems for satellite electronic units within the aviation and space programs industry. The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for creating automated electronic ground support equipment (EGSE), designing test fixtures for life-tests and radiation tests of electronic components, and developing corresponding test software using Python or C/C++. A key part of the job includes preparing documentation for CE certification, supervising multi-layer PCB layouts, and rigorously testing and verifying the systems before deployment. The ideal candidate holds a Master's Degree in Electronics or System Engineering and possesses proficiency in designing electronics for RF, precision analog, and power applications, ideally adhering to ECSS standards and familiar with spacecraft communication protocols like SpaceWire and MIL-STD-1553. This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Munich area, offering the chance to work alongside flight electronics design engineers.
