Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity for a Junior Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) Engineer to contribute to the high-profile Galileo satellite program at Airbus Defence and Space. The primary focus is on developing and executing crucial functional tests for AIT satellite programs. Day-to-day tasks involve supporting the creation and review of test specifications, defining and performing detailed test procedures, and assisting with complex electrical integration activities. You will be responsible for processing and evaluating test data, documenting results through comprehensive test reports, and providing operational support for the satellite/instrument. Furthermore, the role requires supporting configuration analysis and fault investigation (NCR). Candidates must hold a completed university degree in Technical Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering and possess professional experience in functional satellite AIT. Negotiation-level fluency in both German and English is mandatory, along with proficiency in Unix and MS Office. This position offers an unlimited contract and exposure to cutting-edge space technology.
