Job Summary
The Data Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the technologically supported, customer-centric direction of a renowned media company. This position involves hands-on data analysis, preparation, and complex SQL-based querying and selection. Key responsibilities include designing, managing, and optimizing relational databases, ensuring high data quality through monitoring and cleanup processes, and analyzing/automating internal and external data processes. The role requires close collaboration with Product Management, Marketing, IT, and Customer Service to implement data-driven solutions. A successful candidate will contribute to the internal data strategy (including Data Governance and archiving), apply and integrate AI methods in data projects for forecasting and automation, and support Business Intelligence initiatives, including the selection and implementation of BI tools for strategic decision-making. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Informatics/Data Management or relevant professional experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with data privacy regulations, especially within the media sector.

Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Data Management, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in Data Management or related field (if not possessing a relevant degree)
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools and Data Analytics platforms
- Practical application of AI methods in data projects
- Familiarity with data protection regulations, ideally in the media environment
- Knowledge of CRM and Marketing Automation requirements
