This role seeks an ambitious Specialist in Control and Drive Systems to innovate within the shipbuilding and marine technology sector. The core mission involves the development and optimization of electrical drive and control systems specifically tailored for maritime applications. Day-to-day tasks include performing electro-technical troubleshooting on development and customer projects, participating in the creation and testing of prototypes, and conducting comprehensive system and functional tests both onboard vessels and during harbor/sea operations. A critical function of this position is the adaptation of hardware and software solutions to meet unique client requirements, including conducting measurement voyages and performance analyses. Candidates must possess a degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics, coupled with fundamental knowledge of electrical switchgear and frequency-controlled drive systems (e.g., Danfoss/VACON, ABB). Expertise in PLC programming (WAGO, SIMATIC) and proficiency with schematic interpretation using EPLAN P8 are essential.
