Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious PLC Developer passionate about innovation and technology, focusing on complex development projects for special machinery OEMs and suppliers. The core responsibilities include creating and optimizing PLC modules, specifically for crane control systems. A major part of the job involves migrating the ABB AC500 control system from version V2 to V3, requiring software adjustments, implementing new libraries, and modifying data structures for external interfaces. The developer will also be responsible for comprehensive software validation, system testing, setting up and executing simulations, and creating detailed technical documentation. Candidates should possess a background in electrical or automation engineering, professional experience in PLC programming (ideally with ABB Automation Builder, CODESYS, and IEC 61131 structured text), and strong German and English language skills.
