Electrical Design Engineer EPLAN | Elektrokonstrukteur EPLAN (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive electrical design and engineering, focusing on the planning and construction of control cabinets and switchgear for machinery. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed circuit diagrams using EPLAN P8, ensuring compliance with all technical and normative requirements. Day-to-day tasks include managing projects holistically, from initial concept development through construction to final release, and coordinating technical specifications with both suppliers and customers. A key deliverable is the generation of complete electrotechnical documentation, manufacturing documents, and proofs. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g., Electrical Engineering Technician) and possesses initial professional experience in electrical design, particularly with strong application knowledge of EPLAN. Experience in automation technology or PLC programming is a plus, and strong German language skills are required for effective communication.
