Day-to-day responsibilities include programming sophisticated PLC controls using systems like Siemens S7 or Beckhoff TwinCAT, creating user interfaces and visualizations with software such as WinCC or TIA Portal, and ensuring seamless integration into existing client systems. A critical component of the job involves diagnosing and resolving malfunctions quickly on-site to maintain smooth operation. The successful candidate must possess a degree or technical qualification in Electrical or Automation Engineering, coupled with several years of experience in PLC programming and familiarity with standard programming languages (AWL, KOP, FUP, SCL).
