This role is for an ambitious System Engineer specializing in heat pumps, focusing on driving innovation and technology within heating systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical development projects from initial specification through to prototype testing and qualification. The engineer will optimize and qualify heat pumps, analyze new technologies, and conduct and evaluate laboratory tests. A key part of the role involves selecting and coordinating new components with external suppliers and partners, ensuring thorough documentation, industrialization, and continuous product improvement. Candidates should possess a degree in Thermodynamics, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in R&D or application engineering for heat pumps. Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat exchangers, control technology, and hydraulics is essential, along with proven project leadership skills within interdisciplinary teams.
