Job Summary

This role involves applying specialized knowledge in patient-oriented diagnostics, focusing on report generation within molecular (hemato-)oncology and somatic genetics to contribute to individualized therapy planning. The Scientific Associate will utilize modern technology, including Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Liquid Biopsy analyses, integrating expertise into routine diagnostics. A key part of the job is the innovative optimization of NGS evaluation pipelines and the development of new analytical procedures to expand the somatic diagnostics portfolio. Candidates should possess a degree in Biology or a comparable natural science field, with experience in molecular diagnostics and proficiency in using specialized laboratory information systems (LIMS) and genetic databases.
