Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Research Associate to join a small, international, and growing R&D team focused on a scientifically challenging project in the Alzheimer's field. The associate will be responsible for the independent, hands-on execution of experimental work within ongoing R&D projects. Key responsibilities include actively shaping operational laboratory procedures, continuously developing lab processes while adhering to internal SOPs and quality standards, and potentially taking on organizational or safety responsibilities (e.g., first responder). The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in a natural science field (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) and deep practical experience with antibody-based and protein biochemical methods, including immunoassays, SDS-PAGE, and protein purification. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or comparable qualification in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related natural science field

Experience

  • Fundamental practical experience in laboratory-based research
  • Experience in an industrial, translational, or application-oriented research environment is ideal
  • Experience in a dynamic work environment (e.g., start-up, scale-up, or industry) is advantageous
  • Initial experience in independent planning, execution, and evaluation of experimental work is ideal
  • Experience in sample preparation for preclinical studies is advantageous
  • Experience working under GLP and/or GMP frameworks is advantageous
