Job Summary

This role involves working as a Building Automation Technician for a renowned public institution managing the city's theater operations in Cologne. The primary responsibilities include the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical building equipment and machinery. A key focus is the computer-aided management of Building Management Systems (BMS), specifically utilizing measurement and control technology for monitoring and regulation. Day-to-day tasks will involve independent fault analysis, documentation of disturbances, routine maintenance, and performing installation and regulation work on domestic technical systems. This position offers the stability of a permanent, full-time contract with attractive, above-tariff compensation, holiday and Christmas bonuses, and up to 30 days of annual leave, all within a supportive public sector environment. Candidates must possess a relevant vocational qualification (e.g., Electrician or Mechatronics Technician), experience in measurement and control technology, and be comfortable working at heights.
