Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled IT specialist, ideally with initial professional experience in system integration, to manage and maintain complex, high-availability server environments. The System Administrator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of both Linux/UNIX and Windows systems, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability across the IT infrastructure. Key daily tasks include 2nd and 3rd-level troubleshooting, implementing robust security measures (firewalls, patch management), and planning backup/recovery strategies. A significant focus is placed on automation using tools like Ansible and PowerShell, managing virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V), and administering hybrid or multi-cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, a dedication to continuous learning, and excellent German language proficiency (C1 minimum) to thrive in this challenging and varied role.
