Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced IT System Administrator to manage, maintain, and evolve the corporate IT infrastructure for a globally active client in the Nuremberg region. Day-to-day responsibilities include the administration and optimization of critical server and storage systems, comprehensive troubleshooting of system failures, and the support of essential IT security hardware, such as firewalls and tokens. A key component of the role involves collaborating with and managing external service providers to ensure seamless operations and continuous development of the IT landscape. Candidates must possess completed vocational training or a comparable degree in an IT field, coupled with professional experience in system administration. Required technical knowledge includes modern IT systems, networking (preferably Cisco), and server technologies (preferably MS Server). Success in this role demands negotiation-level German and good English skills, along with strong communication abilities. The position offers the stability of an unlimited contract and the flexibility of a hybrid work model.
