Job Summary

This role within Core Products Innovations R&D focuses on developing innovative board materials, specifically gypsum boards. The Materials Scientist will be responsible for researching reaction mechanisms and processes, conducting extensive laboratory work including sample preparation, chemical and physical-chemical investigations, and analyzing gypsum boards. A critical aspect of the job is translating laboratory findings into industrial manufacturing processes on production lines. Candidates should have a background in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, ideally with professional experience in glass/ceramics or gypsum board production. Success requires a structured, independent work style, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in both German and English to collaborate effectively with international colleagues.
