Job Summary
This full-time role as an Electrical Systems Technician for the City of Offenburg's Technical Operations department involves crucial work maintaining and expanding the city's electrical and building infrastructure. Key responsibilities include the manufacturing and repair of standard building installations, routine maintenance of existing electrical systems, and the repair of various machines and devices. A significant focus will be placed on installing and maintaining modern electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and setting up IT infrastructure, including laying and splicing fiber optic cables (LWL). Candidates must possess a relevant qualification in Energy and Building Technology, strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Internet), and a Class B driver's license. This position offers a stable, permanent employment contract under the TVöD public service collective agreement, providing an excellent opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of the city's 63,000 citizens and supports entry into professional life.
