Job Summary

This full-time role as an Electrical Systems Technician for the City of Offenburg's Technical Operations department involves crucial work maintaining and expanding the city's electrical and building infrastructure. Key responsibilities include the manufacturing and repair of standard building installations, routine maintenance of existing electrical systems, and the repair of various machines and devices. A significant focus will be placed on installing and maintaining modern electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and setting up IT infrastructure, including laying and splicing fiber optic cables (LWL). Candidates must possess a relevant qualification in Energy and Building Technology, strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Internet), and a Class B driver's license.
