Job Summary

This role, based near Cologne/Bonn, seeks a High Voltage Engineer to join a stable, family-owned engineering firm specializing in complex engineering projects. The core responsibilities involve defining detailed electrical, thermal, and mechanical specifications in strict compliance with applicable industry standards. You will be responsible for creating technical specifications, drafting dimensional drawings, and assessing technical feasibility in collaboration with the Offer & Order Engineering team. A crucial part of the job includes calculating manufacturing costs, coordinating design solutions, and defining supplier requirements by checking component availability with the Purchasing department. The position also requires participation in customer meetings where you will present technical feasibility and manage technical topics independently. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power or High Voltage Technology, and possesses strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and customer orientation.
