Job Summary
This role involves supporting research and development efforts within the microbiological and plant physiology laboratories at the Greifswald location, focusing on the journey from idea to prototype. The Biological-Technical Assistant will be responsible for general lab organization, including managing orders, and actively planning, executing, and evaluating microbiological experiments (Safety Levels 1 and 2, involving bacteria and fungi). A desirable component is supporting plant cultivation, specifically germination trials. Key requirements include a completed biological-technical education or degree in Biology, Microbiology, or Food Technology. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with MS Office programs, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and reliably. This is a fixed-term contract covering maternity and parental leave until June 30, 2027, offering competitive compensation based on the TV-L tariff scale.
