Job Summary

This Senior Consultant role involves supporting SAP customers in implementing and optimizing Supply Chain planning processes, focusing heavily on SAP S/4HANA systems, specifically in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Procurement (MM), and Production Planning (PP). Day-to-day tasks include designing and implementing customer-specific solution architectures, leading project phases (Design, Realization, Test, GoLive Support), and acting as a subject matter expert in customer projects. You will also support sales activities, including conducting demonstrations, responding to tenders, and performing Proof of Concepts. This position requires deep technical understanding of S/4HANA, extensive experience in SAP MM/PP implementation, and potentially expertise in ABAP/UI5 software development, ensuring customer success through robust, integrated SCM solutions.

Required Skills

Education

Very good university degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable studies, preferably specializing in Supply Chain, Optimization, Operations Research, Statistical Methods, or Logistics.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in implementing SAP PP, SAP MM, and S/4 HANA Planning
  • Alternatively, minimum 3 years in software development (ABAP, UI5)
  • Extensive experience in customer-specific modeling of business processes in Supply Chain planning
  • Professional experience in operational, tactical, and strategic planning concepts
  • Professional experience in customer project responsibility as a Senior Consultant or Developer
