Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the legal compliance and safety documentation for high-quality lubricants, specializing in private label products for an internationally active, medium-sized German company. The Product Safety Specialist will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and updating of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in accordance with REACH regulations and the classification and labeling of substances and mixtures according to CLP regulations. Key tasks include creating and reviewing product labels, assessing raw materials and formulations for hazardous properties, and implementing legislative changes (REACH, CLP, GHS). The ideal candidate possesses a background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, fundamental knowledge of REACH and CLP, and experience with SDS creation software. This position offers a challenging and varied role within a modern production facility, providing significant responsibility, development opportunities, and collaboration across internal departments like Quality Management, Sales, and Procurement.
