Job Summary

The fmb-solar company, a dynamic service provider focused on developing and constructing rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, is seeking a motivated Photovoltaic Electrical Specialist to join their new assembly team in Meckenheim. This hands-on role is critical for the electrical commissioning of PV systems. Daily responsibilities include mounting and connecting inverters, setting up PV switchgear, wiring control components, and laying/connecting AC, DC, and grounding cables. A key focus is on safety, requiring the specialist to perform insulation resistance measurements, functional checks, and comprehensive documentation of protective measures. You will also support the DC assembly team with module installation on various surfaces. Candidates must have completed vocational training as an Electrician (specializing in Energy and Building Technology or equivalent), be comfortable working outdoors and at heights, and possess a high readiness to travel across Germany.
