Job Summary

This role involves working as a Laboratory Technician or Technical Assistant within the Testing Technologies service center at one of Europe's largest textile research institutes. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently conducting various tests, particularly in cleanroom applications, particle retention capacity, and electrostatic capacity, focusing on filaments, yarns, and textile surfaces. Day-to-day tasks include operating, calibrating, and functionally checking testing equipment, as well as preparing detailed results in protocols, reports, and presentations, often in English. The ideal candidate should possess experience in textile testing, demonstrate a self-reliant, structured, and results-oriented work ethic, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This full-time, initially fixed-term position offers flexible working hours and a dynamic team environment supporting exciting research topics, aiming for a permanent contract after the initial two years.
