Job Summary

This role is based in Münster, focusing on the development of innovative embedded computing solutions for industrial automation systems within a global, family-owned high-tech company. The Hardware Developer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of x86-based computer board hardware, from initial design and simulation to serial production readiness. Key day-to-day tasks include designing and implementing electronic circuits, focusing heavily on circuit design, board layout, and simulation, as well as managing prototypes and ensuring compliance with EMC standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possesses initial practical experience in analog and digital circuit technology, and has knowledge of bus systems (Ethernet, CAN, PROFIBUS). Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented approach, and excellent teamwork abilities, contributing to solutions used worldwide across industries like telecommunications, medical technology, and automotive.
