Job Summary

This role involves managing and coordinating the daily operations of the Operating Room (OR) program at Sana Klinikum Coburg, a major acute care hospital. The OR Manager is responsible for the efficient scheduling and utilization of personnel and infrastructure resources, ensuring smooth day-to-day OR business under both medical and economic considerations. Key responsibilities include structuring and optimizing OR processes, managing situational planning of OR theaters, and developing/enforcing the OR charter in collaboration with hospital management. The ideal candidate possesses advanced medical or non-medical qualifications, significant experience in personnel management and/or medical controlling (ideally as an OR Manager or Coordinator), and proven ability to lead and motivate interdisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills, particularly concerning shift scheduling and working hour organization, along with experience in OR controlling and relevant software knowledge, are essential for success.
