Job Summary

This role involves working as a Chemical Laboratory Technician within the central oil diagnostics department in Garching near Munich, focusing on the analysis of used oils and coolants for a major construction machinery partner. Day-to-day responsibilities include determining fuel content using Gas Chromatography (GC), measuring abrasion elements via Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), and analyzing oil condition values using Infrared Spectroscopy (IR) and Viscometry. The technician will perform routine analyses, evaluate results, and meticulously document findings. The ideal candidate holds a completed qualification as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or Laboratory Technician, preferably with initial professional experience in instrumental analysis (e.g., HPLC, IC, GC, ICP).
