Job Summary

This is a key leadership role overseeing the extensive Software Development team, focusing on automation systems including PLC, HMI, line controllers, drive technology, and image processing. The Head of Software Development will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the team, driving the continuous expansion and standardization of the software modular system. A core focus is optimizing the software development and commissioning processes to enhance quality, innovation, and efficiency. The role requires resource planning, managing external service providers, and providing technical support to the sales team. Candidates must possess a relevant degree (Automation Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics) and proven experience in a leadership capacity within automation software development, coupled with expertise in modular software architecture design. The position reports directly to the Management Board.
