Job Summary

This role is a full-time, permanent position as a Test Field Technician specializing in coupling technology systems based in Erlangen. The core responsibilities involve conducting all necessary tests according to prescribed instructions and relevant standards, alongside proactive technical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues quickly. A significant portion of the job focuses on system integration, encompassing electrical, mechanical, software, and measurement technologies, including the installation and configuration of customer-specific software. Furthermore, the technician will support customer acceptance procedures, manage the preparation and shipment setup of tested equipment, and occasionally assist with on-site commissioning or repairs at customer locations. Candidates must have completed training as an Electrician/Electronician, followed by advanced training as a Technician in a relevant field (e.g., energy or data processing technology), and possess basic knowledge of PLC systems.
