Job Summary

As a Senior Packaging Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and evaluating sustainable and economical packaging solutions, ensuring they meet stringent quality, commercial, consumer, legal, and environmental standards. A key part of your role involves optimizing existing packaging and identifying opportunities for harmonization and standardization across various sites, both for materials and formats. You will lead and coordinate development projects in packaging materials and technology, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders while keeping an eye on market trends and adhering to the Dr. Oetker Sustainability Charter. This position requires you to act as a strategic point of contact for assigned product ranges, overseeing international packaging concepts and providing support for packaging-related issues. Additionally, you will assist production plants with tests involving new packaging materials and alternatives, developing necessary quality standards.
