Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Epidemiologist or Postdoctoral Scientist to join the Molecular Epidemiology Research Group at the Max Delbrück Center in Berlin, focusing on complex data analysis within large human cohort studies, particularly the German National Cohort (NAKO). The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, management, and organization of research projects emphasizing molecular and genetic epidemiology, including omics technologies. Day-to-day tasks involve developing detailed data analysis plans and executing analyses on complex phenotyping, genotyping, sequencing, and other omics data sources. This position requires a doctoral degree and expertise in genetic epidemiology, data science, or bioinformatics, offering the opportunity to collaborate internationally, present findings at conferences, and publish in top peer-reviewed journals, contributing directly to translational medicine and disease prevention research.

Master's degree in Epidemiology or Public Health; Master's degree in Life Sciences (Nutrition, Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics) or Medical degree; Doctoral degree

Experience
