Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the Excellence Cluster POLiS at the Institute for Applied Materials – Materials Science (IAM-WK) by focusing on the development of liquid electrolytes for advanced Sodium and Potassium-Ion batteries. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing complex experiments, performing detailed investigations using spectroscopic (IR/NMR), chromatographic (HPLC/GC), and electrochemical methods, and coordinating findings with project partners. A key responsibility is the meticulous documentation, analysis, publication, and presentation of research results. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field, possesses experience in chemical synthesis, and is proficient in working under protective atmospheres.
