Job Summary

This role involves supporting a major pharmaceutical company in Ludwigshafen by specializing in process control and automation engineering. The Process Control Engineering Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and reviewing detailed planning documents provided by contractors, specifically focusing on Process Control Systems (PLS) and Safety Shutdown Protection Systems (SSPS). Day-to-day tasks include participating in critical 3D model reviews and ensuring seamless coordination across instrumentation, planning, and assembly teams. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Control Technology, Automation Technology, or a related field, coupled with extensive professional experience in the relevant area. Strong knowledge of automation, electrical, and measurement and control technologies is essential, along with proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
