Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Automation Engineer to join an innovative industrial company in the Hamburg area, specializing in complex, international special machine construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of automation projects, including conceptualization, planning, and final implementation. Key daily tasks involve PLC programming using SIMATIC S7, creating Human-Machine Interface (HMI) visualization surfaces with WinCC, and parameterizing and commissioning sophisticated drive systems, such as Sinamics S120. The engineer will act as the primary technical contact for customers and external partners, ensuring project success through final acceptance. A completed degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, coupled with a willingness to travel nationally and internationally for commissioning, is required for this demanding and project-focused position.
